What exactly do The Auction Stop franchises do?

The Auction Stop and The Auction Stop franchisees are primarily responsible for generating business for their store. There are four primary areas that franchisees will focus on:

1. Take in items from local people i.e residents etc.
2. You will help in Co-ordinating fundraising events with local charities,
   Churches, Schools and businesses
3. Business to Business service selling off overstock items from local businesses
4. Collecting and selling your own inventory of items.

The Auction Stop can advise on items a franchisee can purchase to enhance their revenue. In addition, as franchisee you will be responsible for staffing your store (dependant on size), photographing items, creating eBay listings, and packing & shipping after sales are completed. Many of the tasks are handled by our software program.

How much will it cost me to open my The Auction Stop franchise store?

Your initial investment depends which package you choose. If you already have your store or wish to locate your own store all you will pay is the franchise fee, (detailed below).

Our Platinum Franchise package consists of the following.

• A turnkey store sourced by us for you*, including counters, desks, interior graphics,
  shelving, seating, flooring, computers, software, computer network equipment, telephone service, website and exterior signs and flyers.
• It also includes your startup inventory of supplies, such as boxes, paper, pens, shredders and packing supplies.
• Installation of the above are bundled in the package price. Your grand opening marketing materials are also included.

Cost varies based on the physical dimensions of the space leased.

How much commission does a franchisee charge clients?

Franchisees are open to charge their own commission schedule. However as a rule we reccommend 25% commission. Also franchisees benefit from profit from packing and shipping costs.

Store Safety

Your store will never have to hold any cash all your stores transactions are carried out online.

Does The Auction Stop charge a royalty fee?

Yes, like most franchisors The Auction Stop collects a Royalty fee of 5% from your sales. However part of the Royalty fee collected is used towards group advertising and ongoing support.
